* An average computer servicing seems to take between 1h - 3.5 hours. However the majority of issues can be resolved quite quickly. Does spenny make house calls?
* Since most problems are software related, Spenny makes every attempt to try to troubleshoot the problem over the phone or remotely. In the event that the problem cannot be resolved this way, the customer may drop off their computer at our office in Edmonton. In certain cases, Spenny may consider doing a house call although it is usually not needed.

My computer is running really slow. What can be done to speed it up?
* Turn off some of the Programs and Services initiating upon Startup.
* Remove all Viruses, Spyware, Worms, Trojans, Malware, etc.
* Eliminate Junk Files and Obsolete Software which can deplete your Resources.
* Find out just how old your Computer Hardware is and how to Update it.
* Add more ram... You can never have too much Ram!
* Make sure you have all of the correct Drivers installed and that your Devices are operating properly.

How do I know if my computer is secure?
* Install an up-to-date dependable Antivirus Program, Spyware Remover, and Malware Scanner and ensure they are receiving their Updates.
* Get a good Software Firewall and make sure it is configured correctly,
* Install and configure a Router for an extra level of Protection.
* Make sure your Wireless Connection is secured and hasen't been tampered with.
* Do a system Audit to check for all Open Ports, then systematically start closing them.

How do I go about backing up my computer?

* There are some good Synchronising Tools out there such as Grsync.
* Copy everything onto a 2nd Hard Drive also known as Cloning.
* Have a scheduled Backup System in place to prevent Data loss.
